Who is CHARM for?

Migrants who may have problem with Sexually Transmitted Infections(STIs) regardless of their nationality, language or visa status can access CHARM services. Available languages through CHARM are English, Spanish, Thai and Tagalog. For other languages, please inquire with us. We will do our best to provide support you need.


Fees

CHARM service is FREE of charge for migrants. CHARM also welcomes contributions, any amount a person can give will help others who cannot.


Your Privacy

You can trust CHARM for protection of your privacy. CHARM is not connected with government sectors or immigration and is not in a position to report about your migrant status to anyone. Our at most concern is your health.


Hospitals and Public Health Centers

CHARM sends medical interpreters for foreign clients upon request from the hospitals and public centers in the area of sexual and reproductive health.

Contact CHARM by telephone, fax or e-mail and let us know your request; language needed, what is the circumstances in which interpretation is needed, preferred dates and time, contact person and number.

Please allow CHARM some time to arrange interpreters especially if it is a minor language. Interpreters fee is welcomed since CHARM pays interpreters from its budget. But, if hospitals cannot cover the cost, we ask for any transportation fees occured.


Universities

CHARM accepts work placement of students majoring in social welfare, social work, medicine, nursing, and other human service related areas. Placement needs to be more than 3 months in lengths and limited to students highly motivated to learn about medical service for migrants and willing to undertake any responsibility given.

CHARM also sends speakers to classes as a visiting lecturer.
